Rihanna THREE Hours LATE For Monaco Show !

Rihanna kept fans in Monte Carlo, Monaco waiting for over three hours during a recent concert stop!

 Rihanna is in the running for being crowned "The World's Most Inconsiderate Entertainer" as she continues to leave fans waiting for HOURS.   Her most recent offense was on Wednesday night in Monte Carlo, Monaco at the ‘Salle des Etoiles’s of Sporting d’ete’ for the 2013 Monte- Carlo Sporting Summer Festival.

According to Radar Online, Rihanna kept fans waiting over three hours for her scheduled appearance which costs fans as much a $750!  Although the show was set to begin at 8:30, Rihanna didn't actually appear until AFTER 11:30.

For those keeping track, you can now add Monaco to the long list of tour dates where Rihanna seemed to place her priorities on partying versus performing.  But at least RiRi is willing to make amends when she's wrong.

Earlier this week, she sent a $5,000 check to a suburban Chicago high school to cover the security expenses they incurred after she was four hours late to an appearance at Barrington High School.  We're pleased to know that she's aware her tardiness does affect others.

Lil' Kim RELEASES "Looks Like Money" For Her 39th BIRTHDAY!

 Legendary rapstress Lil' Kim celebrates her 39th birthday today with the release of a new single, "Looks like Money."

To celebrate her many years in the music business, Lil' Kim kicked off her b-day with the release of a new single, "Looks Like Money".  She tweeted, “Here’s just a LITTLE gift from ME to U on MY birthday that U guys have been waiting for!!”

The single is "vintage" Kim as it was originally announced as a single in 2011, but it never saw an official release.  We don't think it's good enough to get her back on the radio OR buzzing in the clubs, but you have to admire her for still repping for Brooklyn and trying to stay relevant with this new generation.

Rihanna and members of her entourage took a break from their "Diamonds" tour for a fun day at Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen, Denmark recently.

 

Musically, Rihanna is still one of the world's reigning pop queens with hits "Stay" and "Loveeeee Song" still high on the charts.  And her fans don't let her forget it.

'Yeezus' Sales Drop 80% In Second Week on Billboard 200 (Kanye west's album)

Kanye West;s "Yeezus" which was debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, well that was good news for Kanye West but it didn't last for long.

In its second week in stores, sales for  Kanye West's "Yeezus" reportedly dropped 80 percent, knocking the album out of its chart-topping spot. According to Billboard, "Yeezus" sold 65,000 copies in its second week, down from 327,000 copies in the first week.

The 80 percent drop is the fourth-largest second-week slump since 1991 when SoundScan began recording album numbers, Billboard reports. West's "Yeezus" drop comes in fourth to Madonna's "MDNA" which fell 86.7 percent in 2012, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" which dropped 84.28 percent in 2011, and Mac Miller's "Blue Slide Park" which went down 82.54 percent also in 2011.

West's mediocre second-week sales bring his sixth solo studio album to the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200. "Yeezus" comes in third to Wale's "The Gifted," which topped the chart this week, and J. Cole's "Born Sinner," which maintained its No. 2 spot. "Born Sinner" also experienced a drop in sales this week, selling 84,000 against its debut week sales of 297,000.

"UK and US governments fight aids"- Sir Elton John

Sir Elton John, Founder of the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF), called on the U.K. government to double its commitment to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in a recent editorial in The Guardian.

He also urged the U.S. government to renew its commitment in an open letter to Congress.

“We find ourselves with the historic opportunity to create the AIDS free future laid out in the PEPFAR Blueprint; an opportunity that seizes the science and leaves no one behind,” said Sir Elton. “We have made great strides, and with sustained and strategic investment, we can finish the job.”

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria provides funding to countries for programs that prevent, treat and care for people with HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Since its establishment in 2002, the Global Fund has supported more than 1,000 programs in 151 countries, providing AIDS treatment for 4.2 million people, anti-tuberculosis treatment for 9.7 million people and 310 million insecticide-treated nets for the prevention of malaria.

“I respectfully urge the U.S. Congress to appropriate $1.65 billion for the Global Fund in FY14 as you did in FY13, and to restore the vitally important PEPFAR bilateral program to its FY12 level,” wrote Sir Elton, in his letter to Congress. “I know that while U.S. leadership and leverage in the global fight against AIDS is unique and indispensable, other governments, corporations, foundations (such as my own), multilateral and faith-based institutions, and people from all walks of life must all do their part to end AIDS. Last week I urged my own U.K. Government to double its Global Fund contribution, providing one billion pounds ($1.57b) over the next three years, and hope they will take action. I also commend the governments of South Africa, Namibia and Kenya for increasing their own investments in HIV prevention and treatment and urge other African nations to do the same.”

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian name thier baby "Kaidence Donda West"

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly named their daughter Kaidence Donda West.

The reality TV star gave birth to the couple’s first child on Saturday (15.06.13) in Los Angeles, California, and a loose-lipped nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the hospital where she had her baby, has allegedly revealed their new arrival’s name.

According to gossip website MediaTakeOut.com, Kim and Kanye have settled on calling their daughter Kaidence, which would follow the Kardashian family tradition of naming daughters with the letter ‘K’.

Meanwhile, the newborn’s middle name is a tribute to the ‘All of the Lights’ rapper’s late mother Donda West, who died in November 2007.

Kanye, 36, was incredibly close to his mother and even penned a tribute song about her, titled ‘Hey Mama’, for his 2005 album ‘Late Registration’.

Kim, 32, was due to give birth in mid-July but had her baby five weeks early after experiencing an early onset of labour pains on Friday evening (14.06.13).

The star’s sister Khloe Kardashian-Odom said both mother and baby are doing well.

She wrote on Twitter: “I can not even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love.

“More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now. (sic)”
